How Porch & Pine started.

A family's love of quiet places became an invitation to yours.

Why we built this.

For years, our idea of a perfect family weekend was loading up the truck and driving down to Disney's Fort Wilderness. The kids loved it, Geneva loved it, and I — somewhat to my own surprise — loved a place built around pine walls, screened porches, and the Friday-night feeling of slowing all the way down.

When Disney decided to retire those cabins, we couldn't watch them disappear. So we bought a few straight from the resort, hauled them home, and put them back to work — first in Callahan and Hilliard, then up to our family land in Cordele, Georgia.

Geneva and I have four kids and run a roofing company out of Jacksonville. These cabins were our private retreats long before they were anyone else's — which is exactly why they're stocked the way they are. We thought about what we'd want, then we left it for you.

So this isn't a listing. It's an invitation from people we know to people we'd like to know — come land here for a while.

What we promise

Three things, every stay.

🗝️

Real keys, real people

No lockbox codes from a stranger. You call or text our team. We answer.

Stocked like family is coming

Coffee. Paper towels. Good soap. Fresh linens. We think about what you'll actually need.

🐕

Pet-friendly when we say it is

If your dog stays, we're clear about it. Treats included. No surprises.

Where we are

Florida and Georgia.

Callahan, Florida

Rural Nassau County, about 30 miles south of Jacksonville. Spanish moss. Quiet roads. Close enough to hit St. Augustine or Disney via I-95, but far enough gone to actually disconnect. Our home base.

Cordele, Georgia

Near Lake Blackshear, tucked between Florida and Atlanta. Quiet pine country, easy on/off I-75, and exactly the kind of place built for long weekends with family. Worth the drive. Completely worth it.

Come stay.

Pick a cabin. Bring the people who matter. We'll make sure you have what you need.
